We are aware that players using the Windows 7 and Windows Vista operating systems are currently unable to launch the game using direct launch. While we work to fix this issue, please use the work-arounds below to enjoy the MapleStory Jubilation update.

Launch the game from the website. Players should not experience the same issue when launching from the website.

Create a short cut to MapleStory.exe and modify the target by following the instructions below:
     Locate MapleStory.exe in the folder that MapleStory is installed to. This is usually C:\Nexon\MapleStory
     Right click MapleStory.exe and choose to create a shortcut
     Right click the shortcut you just created and choose Properties
     Alter the Target line so that it reads:
C:\Nexon\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe GameLaunching
     Note that the beginning of the location may be different if you have installed MapleStory to a directory other than the default.
     Use the modified shortcut to launch the game.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, we are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We hope these work-arounds allow you to play MapleStory in the meantime.
